Thanksgiving Day

Thanksgiving was so much fun as usual for my family. We always find a way to have a good time. Rob and I drove up that morning and we had Thanksgiving lunch at Me-Mama's. This year was the first time in many years that all three Caulfield children were at home at the same time. It was nice but went by way too fast. There weren't as many faces around the table this year and they were greatly missed. After lunch, Rob, Barry, my dad, and I went to feed the cows...actually, daddy did and we just watched. We go out to the farm as much as we can when we are in Water Valley. It's just so peaceful and brings me back to the "small town" kinda life....now that I'm a city girl and all!! That night, we watched the movie Ratatouille. It was really cute! Then we played Cranium...girls against boys. The girls were victorious!

Mike the Tiger

On Sunday, we decided to take Rob's parent's to visit Mike the Tiger on LSU's campus.

weekend wedding (and football)

This past weekend, Rob and I went to Baton Rouge. No, we did not go to the Ole Miss/LSU game. We went to the wedding of Marvin Waggoner and Sarah McKey. Marvin and Rob are great friends. They first met in the 6th grade when Rob lived in Baton Rouge. They also went to Mississippi College together. Marvin and Sarah are such a great couple and we are so excited that they found each other. We had a wonderful weekend. Rob's parents came over from San Antonio, so it was great to get to visit with them. Friday night, the Ole Miss football team was eating at the same restaurant that the rehearsal dinner was at. I didn't get to see them though. They were in a different area of the restaurant. One thing that I wasn't prepared for was how cold it was going to be. I didn't realize the wedding was outside, so I packed a dress and light cardigan. So, on Saturday, Rob and the guys went to Buffalo Wild Wings, and Rob's mom and I went shopping for a coat. I found a great one at White House Black Market, and the lady even gave me a discount b/c she felt sorry for me. After lunch, we all went back to the hotel to watch the game. I had my red pom-pom in tow and I used it a lot. The rebels beat the tigers 31-13. It was great, but I held my composture throughout the wedding and reception. I think everyone there was an LSU fan. The wedding was absolutely beautiful and we had a great time visiting with all of Rob's friends and families.

I loved Sarah's wedding shoes...they reminded me of "Father of the Bride"

baby it's cold outside!

Much to my dismay, football season has turned cold on us. This past weekend, I saw what we Rebel fans haven't seen in a long time...complete domination! After a 5 year drought, we are finally bowl eligible. It was amazing..I only hope we can continue that domination through this weekend as we play LSU. Rob doesn't believe this will happen, but I have faith in my Rebels. I think it will be a great game. GO REBELS! For those tigers fans, Rob says GEAUX TIGERS!

it's hard to eat when you are cold!
Would you like some nutts??

Cohen Alexander Hart

After eating supper in Oxford Saturday night, Rob and I went to meet my friend Kelley Hart's precious new baby boy. Cohen was born October 29th. Kelley and Ron are going to be such great parents. We enjoyed our first visit with Cohen!

Rob is a little sunburned from the game.

Hotty Toddy!

Hotty Toddy! Go Rebels! We had such a wonderful time this weekend visiting with friends and watching Ole Miss beat Auburn. I would like to thanks Houston Nutt for making our trips this year to Oxford much more enjoyable than last year. Keep it up Coach Nutt!!
